Hildamay’s first album, We Loved We Lost, opened the flood gates to a stream of massive genre destabilising anthems last September. Arguably an acquired taste but nevertheless one of the most powerful bands forging a name for themselves in the UK right now; forging it out of blood, metal and an honest heart. Those words really define Hildamay, their songs are an orgy of anger, strength and pure emotion all reverberating off one another into an energized echo. They manage to demonstrate great variety in their music while still holding tightly to their personality and sound.
